DEPLOYMENT
Experience Builders’ simulations make deployment simple.
They require no special Java applet, plug-in, or ActiveX control — just
a browser. The simulations can be run on a web server, across
your Intranet, or locally, off a CD-ROM disk, network drive, or
local drive. They can also be dynamically connected to a database,
if desired.
The Experience Buildertm authoring
tool uses HTML templates, allowing a company to
completely control every aspect of the simulations' look
and feel. And, the simulation can be subsequently modified in
DreamWeaver or any other text editor after it's deployed, meaning
that a company is not obligated to use our tools
to maintain the system.
Experience Builders' simulations consist of a set of interlinked
HTML pages, with some Javascript 1.1 commands to govern their operation.
Installing them on a server is a simple matter of copying files
over to the server. They are completely "open-source,"
meaning that anyone with some knowledge of HTML or Javascript
can freely modify their behavior, once deployed.
Thus, they can be easily integrated into other e-learning courses,
for example, or a company's intranet pages.
